Babar
Not gonna lie, I had tears in my eyes when I saw the opening theme of Babar on Youtube:
It was one of my most favorite childhood cartoons. The ending theme (which you can download and listen to from here) has stayed in my mind ever since I watched the cartoon on TV when I was a kid. I can still sing and play on the piano the whole theme from start to finish! :D
Babar is about a little, gentle elephant called Babar who loses his mother to hunters and grows up to become king of a place called Celesteville, which is named after his wife, Celeste, who is also an elephant. He has three children and two advisors, all of whom are elephants. There's only one human character in the story, a kind old lady who taught Babar a great deal about human life and lives with Babar and his family in their palace.
