Turns out their band wasn't on the show. I'm a little disappointed, but oh well. I'm more disappointed that the show basically sucked. So in a way I'm really happy he wasn't on a show like that (even though I think he's in the 100 band online thing).
Anyways, recently I've been really into Korean variety shows, particularly those on Real Situation Saturday/Sunday (I think it switched from one to the other and I haven't gotten which one's current yet). I absolutely love X-Man and Super Junior: Full House. Love Letter is pretty amusing too but I still haven't gotten through a full episode of that.
Real Situation X-Man introduced me to the loves of Lee Min Ki, Lee Seung Gi, Chae Yeon (I already had music videos of her, but the <3 didn't start until after I watched her on X-Man), Lee Soo Young, and Shin Ae. It's so much fun! There's still a torrent for it up on D-addicts (with hardsubs) so I definitely recommend if you haven't watched it,
go download it.
And Super Junior = <3 for sure. Oh. My God these guys are love. I always liked their music so I wanted to download their show just to see what it was like, but honestly I had low expectations. I thought that 13 members + 2 foreign exchange students was going to be way too much and I'd confuse them all and their chemistry wouldn't be that good. Jeezy was I wrong. Their chemistry is right up there with Kanjani8, even with two foreign girls and I'm learning their names faster than I got Arashi's down. All I can say? Hee Chul and Kibum are love! Back when I watched the music videos I really thought Hee Chul was scary (even though I couldn't tell who was who) and was definitely my least favorite (based solely on the music videos). That changed fast. Within the first episode I absolutely adored Hee Chul, then in the second we saw them changed for a live performance. I nearly spit my drink out when I realized my new fangirl obsession was HIM.
This'll be tough though. Because I want to watch more Super Junior Full House but the rest isn't subbed and I know absolutely no Korean. I'm fairly confident with understanding basic Japanese now, but Korean? Everything still sounds the same to me. I've barely gotten used to listening to the language. So I have to start studying. If I take a break from Japanese and immerse myself in Korean dramas and music it may go faster, but that's nearly impossible. So, I'll just focus on Korean for the time being.
One more thing. Hee Chul and Anya are adorable together. I'm not normally a shipper, but of them? Definitely. Their relationship is the cutest thing ever!
And that wraps up my long fangirly entry. I swear I'm not normally that fangirly O.o
