Lambchop at Union Chapel!! - 03/11/08 - supported by Our Broken Garden

- I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from a live Lambchop gig but it was thoroughly enjoyable and Kurt Wagner has an amazing voice. The chapel setting was very pretty and Jonathan and I sat in the front left pew, hehe.

- I hadn't actually listened to their new (at the time) album Oh Ohio, but they played that in full and it was glorious. Including the final song becoming a mishmash of Lambchop and Talking Heads as it became a cover of Once In A Lifetime. :D

- After playing the album in full they played a handful of older songs. Ashmedly the only Lambchop album I own is still Is A Woman, the only song from that they played was Bugs. I was really hoping for Caterpillar... but that's my fault for not seeing them the last time they played in London where they *did* play it!

- Kurt Wagner ran off to the venue entrance after the gig to help sell items at the tiny merch stall, all the while stopping to sign things and take photos with people. What a gentleman. I wanted to go shake his hand but I was too shy, hehe.
