So I think one of these years I am going to spend a summer help exchanging around Canada. There are so many listings on the site... volunteering at a coffee house in witless bay, newfoundland? Or a berry farm in BC? Or a guesthouse on quadra island picking oysters off the beach (also BC)?
And hey, it'd be a great way to see my own country. And I mean, with the exception of flights or bus fare, it's free to stay there. You work for your food and board. Cheap summer travel, you guys.
Also I secretly harbour a hope that when I am old I can have my own little place in the world where I can grow things and have animals. This is good training, right? (right.)
