I really would hate for this journal to turn into just Kimi's Moaning Corner but urrrrrrrrrrrrgh.

I ordered this poster for Josh. I saw it and I thought "Wow, that would make a really nice Christmas present." It was in my price range and I thought, okay - let's do this. This poster, designed well and very geeky would look good on Josh's currently ( Read more... )

Oh god, not parcelforce. They are the crappiest crappiest ever. They are, however, culpable for their actions. They try to weasel out of taking responsibility but they cannot. The least they could do was give you an apology note stating that it was damaged by them and they are responsible for what had happened but no...
If it went out of switzerland, I am assuming it was sent by chronopost? if so, they can verify the condition which would only leave parcel force to blame.
Also, it's never acceptable to just chuck something somewhere because it can't be delivered. Even if it's not a signed for item (parecel force usually is), they can't just leave it with a note and go. They have to keep it and attempt re-delivery or leave a note telling you to arrange somthing with them, either you picking it up or them coming back. But not throwing it outside. It's a courrier service, not pigeon mail.
If they refuse to take responsibility for damaging it and you don't wanna argue with them about that, they most definitely can't weasel out of the leaving it in a cupboard bit.

Hmm, I'll take all that advice into account then if ever I deal with them and/or if they fuck up the next package meant to be sent to me. At the moment I'm tired with waiting on phone lines and stuff. Chronopost is French I think, it's Swisspost who deal with packages from Switzerland.
