Actually, not all that many people responded with text in the boxes...the survey host seems to have repeated some of the answers for "where are you from" and "why fandom" in the het/slash "why" questions...I only got around 30-40 "other" responses for both of those...interesting, hm?

So, now that we all know this-- anyone want to analyze the results? What does this all mean for fandom? Is our interest in characters over gender (a common response for "why" a person prefers a het/slash) mirroring our peer group's open-mindedness to queer persons, or are we the odd-balls out in society (i.e. people still care what sex their significant other should be)?
