Current blackwork progress
I've not been doing a whole lot lately in my creative work, other than thinking about things and trying to figure out how to do other things. But when the whim strikes I do some blackwork embroidery.
This one was actually done on October 12th, and a photo from my iPhone was posted to my Facebook then. This is a better photo from my good digital camera showing that it is indeed blue not black thread. I'm leaning towards making this into a pouch, but a pincushion is also possible.
This is the progress on my blackwork high-necked smock project, the front of the smock slit opening area. This was where I finished last night after filling in the long pathway sections. I can now rehoop to a fresher section. The pathway will be filled in a gold thread pattern of some sort.
