Our Maude and Harvey - 6 month report

Maude, sweet, grumpy (in a lovely old grandma way*), friendly.

She doesn't really like sitting on laps but she does like to hang out. I've woken up a few time to find that she has groomed a big patch of my head. She is also quite affectionate to the red cushions which she also grooms.

She is a tiny bit disturbed mentally. She is completely obsessed

Oh Maude!! I love her and her string and random-grooming. She sounds special! (Of course, Ernest is "my" cat for a reason - I like the special ones).

Ernest and Algernon allow the whole world to come in the house and eat their food. We have to buy the pricy stuff due to Algernon's risk of bladder infections so it's frustrating that the neighbourhood moggies are chowing down.

We've stopped feeding late at night and are contemplating moving the food bowl somewhere deep within the house. Would be easier if our cats were even the slightest bit teritorial!!

Yeah, she is lovely. I enjoyed your post about Ernest and Algernon the other day.

Their bowl is downstairs in the office next to our room. It is one brave invader cat!

They both sound gorgeous. Harvey looks a bit like a tailed version of our cat Mac. He has made friends with a ragdoll called Mink, they play together and she treats our home like hers. And yes, she eats Mac's special dental biscuits! :)
