So, for the last year I've had borderline hypertension. About 3 weeks ago I decided that it wasn't getting better on its own and that I care more about my health than my Dr ever could.
So I did heaps of reading (on the internet, I hear this annoys GPs).
Today, after three weeks of a modified CRON diet (lots of fruit and veggies, low sodium, required amounts of potassium) and one week of daily moderate exercise I got:
A completely normal blood pressure reading (I double checked it too :))
I find this to be so awesome. it is great to feel I have some control of my health.
Obviously one reading doesn't mean all is well but it is the first truly good reading I've had in over a year.
