Feeling physically yucky today-I have for the past three days actually, but not bad enough to justify not coming into work. I don't want to take sick time if I can avoid it, because I might need all I have if I end up taking FMLA in the next couple months.

I really needed the time with my Awana girls last night. My fellow teacher was out sick, but ( Read more... )

Good lesson, and I think you have the difference between the two just right. There really is a difference!

I'm feeling a bit yucky myself, today. Erk. Maybe we need some chocolate... Then again, maybe not!

Praying for you today to be able to manage inspite of the yuck!

LOL, if I had brought them DARK chocolate I'd have been joining in the feeding frenzy, but I have no problem saying no to milk chocolate.
I'll be okay, I've just been feeling kinda "run over by a Mack Truck"-ish. Must be getting old...

I shall join the yucky club as I officially feel yuckier than ever - although that may have something to do with shelling out $120 for allergy medicine last night =O

And I have insurance now... *mutter*

That is a great example! They are never going to forget that distinction, you lesson-plan deviant, you! ;)

Lesson-plan deviant, LOL! I like that! Give them chocolate and they will be putty in your hands! They likely won't forget the difference any time soon, though!

What did the doctor say today, by the way? Email me.

(((((((((Kimby)))))))). I would make green tea truffles, hot green tea, and corn chowder for you.

BTW, my flist page is gone all wonky today but I can see entries using mylj. Anyway, I had meant to respond to your entry about losing five lbs. Go you! Heh. I am such a yo-yo queen and have educated myself about nutrition and the weight loss process so much, it is not surprising I should have guessed right about that. Glad I did. ;?)

Okay, people keep posting this word and I keep asking, but I KNOW I'll get an answer from you - what is "Awana"??? I gather that it's a religious class, but what exactly does it mean?

P.S. You can teach me with chocolate any time! Our pastor is a choco-holic and usually hands out little treats at the end of his childrens sermons. lol
