$37 Million Meal
What would you do with $37,000,000.00? That is a lot of money in my opinion, but not Alexander's. We were driving and he looked up at the billboard displaying the current PowerBall lottery total. It read $37 Million and he scoffed and said...
Alexander: "Wow, $37 million, why is it so low, that's hardly any money?"
Mom: Actually that is a lot of money Alexander.
Alexander: Well usually it's a 3 digit number, I'm just saying it isn't very much right now.
Mom: Well, someone must have won the powerball, or perhaps a number of people won large portions of it or something.
Alexander: Yeah, maybe.
Heck I'm happy when I find a $20 bill in my purse that I didn't realize was there. It's like a small miracle. Speaking of which Alexander made supper tonight. I know! We were at the bread store when he decided on being my kitchen helper tonight.
Alexander: Mom, I was thinking I could make supper tonight.
Mom: I think that is a great idea Alexander.
Alexander: Yeah, I'll make supper then.
Mom: Okay! What are you thinking of making?
Alexander: Hmm... maybe some pasta or burgers.
Mom: Okay, that could work.
Alexander: No, I think I'll make hotdogs.
Mom: Well, okay...(perk up Kimberly, let him do his thing)... yeah that sounds great, lets get some buns while we are here then.
Alexander: Sure!
We picked up some hotdog buns and then stopped on the way to pick up hotdogs. He was very excited to help out, which is great news for me. He ended up having quite the spread. Mac & cheese with sliced hot dogs, sliced peaches and a pan of spaghettios. I thanked him and got a plate for my peaches and mac & cheese...passing on the spaghettios. Just think, a meal like this in a drive thru would probably cost me...ohhh... $37 million dollars!
