Got together with Lisa today and we talked and talked. I ended up feeling sick and just napping on her couch for a couple of hours (her couch is very comfy). We played a game of Dominion (which I won) and watched one episode of "Babylon 5," but otherwise we mostly just talked

I enjoyed the movie; Amy, less so. Neither of us has read the book.

A few years ago, when the girls were still with us, Amy and I were in Mill Valley at the film festival, and we saw some kittens for adoption. One of them was like looking into a magic wayback machine at Kitten Tess. I wanted to snap him/her up right away, but I thought Tess might find it confusing: "It's me, only smaller, and I'm over here!" I sure do miss my girls, though Storm is doing his level best to fill our house with furry adorableness.
