Kimberlah,

I am a grad student at UofF studying the affects of sleep on psychology of kinesiology. A friend of mine happened to run across your posting. I just wanted to let you know that although you think that you may not need as much sleep as others, there are serious problems with disregarding sleep. Researchers have proven that sleeping less severely slows down the rate that neurons fire within the body. This causes slower comprehension rates and confusion among nonverbal communication.

There have also been several studys among adults age 18 to 25 that show that people who recieve more sleep have better relationships with their peirs and are more willing to share personal feelings. Many also believe (although it has not been proven) that sleep can increase lifespan. If you would like more information feel free to "post" me back...but I do not check this that often. I have a few web sites you might be interested in, my favorite being from Dr. Schwartz.
