Happy LJ Birthday to Me!
My LJ is officially 6 years old today. I'd been reading LJ for a while at that point, as graywolf42 and I had gone online earlier trying to find out how joyce was doing, since she'd moved out of state, and came across her LJ. From there I discovered that virtual had one too and, on this day back in 2000, I read a "Happy Birthday" post to me from him and decided to respond to it. Unfortunately, he had anonymous commenting turned off, so I had to set up an account in order to be able to reply and thank him. I did, and the rest is history. :) I go through periods when I post a lot and others where I don't post at all, but I've been reading regularly ever since and am quite happy to be here.
In other news, is there any more annoying feeling than the one you get when trying to take a deep breath and you feel the need to cough? It's uncomfortable and more annoying than the "Am I gonna sneeze or not?" one. I'm definitely fighting off something, and I can't tell yet if I'm winning or losing, but I'm not holding my breath on the "wining" option.
Caught "Heroes" last night. Not having seen the previous episodes, I'm at a bit of a loss, but it was still interesting. I haven't seen enough, in one episode, to get really caught up in any of the characters yet, or even truly understand the abilities of most of the ones on last night. I'll give it a shot until Justice comes back on with new episodes, and make a decision at that point.
Oh, LadyB, your package came this weekend (not that I noticed until Sunday evening *oops*). I forgot to mention it when we spoke Sunday night. :) Thanks!
