(no subject)
This afternoon's work social was fun. I always forget how much fun the improve group is to watch :)
I stopped by the apartment to do some more work there after wards, and noticed, when I went to finish cleaning the laundry room, that some of the pipes in there were leaking. *sigh* So, I called the lady lady's (who's never around) answering service and reported it. Of course, I'm on my cell, as phone was shut off on Monday, so I have no reception to receive calls, so I simply got her voice mail a minute or two after she called saying to shut off the breaker to that area and the water. Well, that pretty much kills working around there this afternoon. I'm also waiting to hear back from someone about when the plumber is coming by *tomorrow* as I'll have to let him in to do the work. Sounds like that might kill tomorrow's plans to an extent as well.
I did manage to pretty much finish off cleaning the laundry area and do the main cleaning in the living room, as well as pack up almost everything else I was bringing back. I have all the cleaning supplies and a few odds and ends to bring back, but otherwise it's just the donation stuff. Still have to clean the kitchen and half bath.
I'm looking forward to simply having a peaceful evening at home. I want to do a bit of unpacking, but otherwise relax on the couch and watch a movie or something.
