Random thoughts...
Still cleaning the apartment. Didn't go by yesterday, went home and unpacked more books and did more work in the kitchen. Had planned to cook dinner, but wound up making a PB&J instead. Watched the season finale of CSI and Without a Trace- both very good with some interesting twists to bring in the new season with.
My neighbor on the left came by last night and brought me some roses she cut from her garden as a welcome to the neighborhood gift :) They're very pretty.
I sprayed down the front walk with weed killer last night. I'm hoping it works, but I don't know if it needed to have a certain number of hours of daylight to be effective. I was just trying to do it when things were dry and it wasn't raining. I can try again tomorrow it it doesn't appear to have had an effect.
This afternoon we're having our Spring departmental social, so we get a free lunch and a show at Comedy Worx (formerly Comedy Sportz, or however it's spelled :). I hope to be heading out between 10:30 and 11am :)
Tomorrow the neighborhood is having a spring thing to celebrate to opening of pool season (there might be more to it than that, I just know I get my new pool key there ;). Tomorrow night I'm going to see Fleetwood Mac with some friends- girls' night out type thing. Hopefully it won't be too hot and it won't storm too bad.
It appears my mail forwarding has finally kicked in. I was beginning to get a bit worried. I got some mail for the previous owner, that I'll need to forward on. I'm still hunting down places where I need to change my address- it's amazing all the places that effects! Need to update info with the DMV...
indigochild76, I got your package this morning. Interesting stuff, though I haven't had time to do much more than glance through it :)
My towel bar fell down Wednesday afternoon, so it'll be first on the home improvement front. Next will be figuring out how to work the lawn mower as my grass needs a trim. Depending on how long that takes, I might be buying a weed eater and trimming things that way for a while ;)
Okay, time to go grab something for breakfast!
