Shows are gearing up for the finales...

TV
NCIS: Double Blind Duuuude, Colin Hanks is awesome at slimy, creepy evil! I want to slap him. I thought it took the team a little too long to figure out the DOD guy was going after Gibbs, but alas. I think Tony is having a rough little while, he's feelings keep getting hurt. From Ziva asking Tim for help, and then finding out Ziva slept with an operative while in Israel after basically falling in front of Ziva emotionally... it's been a hard time.

I think my favorite bit was Gibbs brining Tony coffee. I watched it twice, and the hubby is so awesome he knew I wanted to see it again. :) Not sure where this will go with Gibbs, we all know he's surpressed evidence, but the DOD doesn't have a single case to go after, I think their net is too large. Trying to paint him as unfit or irresponsible is not the right approach. And it's kind of hard to get worked up over Gibbs's place on the team -- he has to stay.

Arrow: Darkness on the Edge of Town Before this episode Mr KA and I were talking about who was going to die. He mentioned the girl in the flashbacks and I agreed, really not a huge loss. He mentioned Malcolm and I said no, they need an out and out big bad.

I have since changed my mind. Malcolm is a gonner. All because he pushed back the hood. Now that he knows it's Oliver he can't stay, there's no profit in it for him to keep Oliver's secret, if anything he can exploit it to steer suspicions away from himself if Oliver talks. Oliver would be so busy trying to keep himself out of jail that Malcolm would be fine. But Malcolm knows and that can not stay.

Tommy is getting a raw deal here. I wish the writers did something more creative then the same old same old. Seriously. Seeing through a window? Really? Blah. Have some balls and have the tension stay with Oliver, have him be all emo about not having Laurel, of having the balls to step back and allow Tommy to come forward. He took the first step but as soon as Laurel was all doe-eyed, Oliver surged forward. I would have liked Tommy to approach Laurel and them have a go at it for a while. Sure it wouldn't have worked out, but in the end it would not have been Oliver's fault.

This? Tommy can blame him for. And if he finds out that Oliver went after Malcolm from Malcolm? It's over. Tommy needs to see Malcom torturing Oliver, something, otherwise I think Tommy will continue forward just because that is the easiest path (now that he's lost his best friend and girl).

And I actually feel slightly bad for Moira, just a little. She was manipulated and told the truth but not Oliver is really pissed off. This is just not a happy shows. Whew. I can't wait for next week. It's called "Sacrifice", just as the Supernatural finale is called "Sacrifice" -- neither of which fills me with hope. :P

Supernatural: Clip Show *sigh* I'm going to get the bitching out of the way first... how could they ever think that leaving the room with the demon tied to a chair was a good idea? And not just leaving the room, leaving the freakin' building! Are you out of your frakking mind? They did they and I just groaned and ... just... no. No hunter, especially not Sam and Dean, would leave such a powerful demon sitting there unguarded. It's just sloppy writing. Would have been better if Crowley "popped" in and helped or something. Ugh. Just... ugh.

Next is Castiel and Metatron. A small part of me is interested in this plot, and then they had to go and take the hard decision out of Castiel's hand by making the waitress be evil. Really? I was actually enjoying trying to figure out of Castiel would go through with it or not, but then she painted herself as bad by stating "I try to be good" (or something like that). Kind of disappointing. I fear that Castiel and Metatron will lock the gates of Heaven, but Hell will be wide open.

And that brings me to the best part. I was very luke warm about the show this season, then it slowly got better and once the Men of Letters was introduced, it was really good. And Sam and Dean with the "trials" and learning more about the Men of Letters and just the change in Dean, taking a more supportive role in their mission, his love and caring of Sam, it's all been great.

This episode hurt, but in a good kind of well thought out way. I love they brought back the kid from "Wendigo" and then "trendil girl" as I called her *g* I liked that ep, freaky girl from the painting. But to follow through and kill her, wow man, that was awesome. (Not for her obviously, but the writing.) And now Sam and Dean have such a choice - keep going with the trials and watch more of the people they helped die, or give things over to Crowley.

And Crowley? Best bad guy ever! (At least right now.) Between the big monologe while Sam and Dean searched the apartment (which is so insightful to their mindset) to hiding the hex bag in the phone - just brilliant! I feel for the boys, they are in a tough spot, they almost have to give the tablet to Crowley and fight another day. The downside is that Sam is sick, he has to complete the third trial or stay that way? Die? Not sure what happens there. But with the episode called "Sacrifice" it could mean the innocent people or Sam. And dude, is Dean going to have to watch Sam die... again? Ugh. But sooo good.

I'm so bummed that all my friends are seeing or have seen Iron Man 3, even my parents are going tomorrow. WTH? But it has to be next Saturday as that is "date" night with the hubby as my kids are staying over my brother's house for the first time. I talked with him yesterday and he told me his softball's beef and beer is that day, but since he's already rescheduled with me twice, he didn't want to do it again. He even asked my parents to watch the kids for a couple of hours but they are going to the shore. And I'm mean, selfish, don't know, enough that I'm not offering to switch the day. If we did it would be over a month before we could do it again and I want the damn day/night! *g*

Been watching Benedict Cumberbatch on various talk shows etc... they really have no idea how to style his hair that long do they? A shame, he looks awesome with it curly, not so much with it slicked back. And did you know his "fans" call themself the Cumberbitches? Had no idea. Or that Chris Pine's fans are Pinenuts? (Yes I may have watch the Graham Norton show) I don't think I'll get to see Stak Trek: Into Darkness in the theater. (Ohgod, I just typed Stark Trek instead of Star Trek, wow, where the hell is my mind? I fixed it)
