Kim sighs in exasperation as she walks through the automatic doors of County General's ER. She's tried calling Kerry several times during the course of the day and has managed only to rack up voicemail after voicemail on the woman's answering service.
Legaspi strides to the admit desk in search of the redheaded doctor to find it nearly empty, save for a brunette-haired woman in a lab coat sitting at the desk. She speaks quickly, trying to salvage the rest of her afternoon as soon as she possibly can. Excuse me. No response. Kim tries again, only louder and more impatient. Excuse me? She squints, trying to read the embroidery on the woman's lab coat. Doctor... Doyle, is it?
