Today was a very good day. Why, you ask? There's a lot, so I'll be brief:

• Got an insanely good night's sleep, despite finally going to bed at 2

• My Calc professor pulled me aside and told me that since I was the only person in class to make an A on all four exams, my final is "optional"

• Learned that my Philosophy of Religion exam is next week, giving me two more days to finish my term paper

• Reaffirmed my superiority over the slutty, pseudo-Goth girl in Philosophy class (more evidence of my narcissism)

• Left English after 5 minutes, literally

• Succeeded in getting BBC RadioScotland online radio to work on my laptop, as well as RadioUlster, RadioWales, and RadioAlba (woot for Scots Gaelic)

• Finished the police brutality case at work and moved on to a wrongful death suit, complete with autopsy reports...One word: SWEET

• Read in the paper that celebrities are holding a "Hate Bush" bash in the Beverly Hills Hilton

The only bad thing that happened? While listening to NPR coming home from work, I heard that the national deficit for next year will edge close to half-a-TRILLION dollars. My consolation? If Dubya keeps it up, he'll have a snowball's chance in hell of getting reelected. That gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside.

Must satiate my auditory yen for Highland lilts. BBC RadioScotland, here I come...
