I'm Sorry, and I Don't Know
I was supposed to try and write every day that I have been at my mom's, but I haven't been, oops.
I have been doing a lot of reading. And more TV watching than is usual for me (since at home we do not have cable so we just watch movies, or if some show we watch is on we Hulu-it the next day). I help around the house a little... I help make dinner, etc.
I keep trying to get in touch with my dad to see if he will be there when I stop by to see my grandma on my way home to Spokane next week. I haven't heard anything, so I don't know.
I was going to stay a month, then I talked to my mate and we decided together that since she has labor day weekend off we would like to spend it together. And also she has Wednesday and Thursday off (then works Friday, and 3 hours Saturday) so a bunch of days off essentially -- so I am going home early on Wednesday.
I miss her and the kitties terribly. It is hot over there, its 90-some degrees. My desktop says it is 96º there right now. That is insane! Hope those kittens are keeping cool somehow. I worry about hot animals, and hope they are drinking enough water. Laurel says they are doing well though so I shouldn't worry. But whats a cat-mommy to do!
Anyway really thats all I have to report here. I'm just glad I was able to type something out! Pretty proud of that fact.
