I was expecting a screw to be put into my jaw. Apparently they had no such thing in mind. Instead, I was handed a fake tooth with metal barbs. The dentist said it wouldn't hurt to put on. No local or anything needed. She shoved it into my mouth and dug the barbs between my teeth. Ouch. Yes, that did hurt. The best part: I take it out at night and wear it during the day. I get to hurt myself every morning with this thing! Woot! Thank god for the codeine.
This evening after rinsing, my "dissolving" sutures came out. They just came undone. I had no choice but to pull them out. And there was a hole exposed. Oh, great. I'll definitely be wearing that fake tooth-barbed thing now, to keep that hole from getting crap stuck in it. That's the hole that leads to my jawbone. I can imagine all sorts of bad things. Maybe I just won't ever eat again...
You know... I've been using Google Chrome lately and I do like it, but it is just not quite as user friendly and intuitive as Firefox. Firefox is loaded down and heavy, but at least I know how to customize it better, and know where everything is. I think I'll start using it again. Google Chrome is pretty rad, though, yes.
This past weekend @ my mom's, she lent me a black suit for my job interviews. Hemmed the pants and all. I just gotta make sure to get the hair off of it, and iron it (if possible). I'll be staying @ Shayne's, and I doubt he has an iron... but at any rate I should hopefully look swasstastic. I hope. My sister and y mom had apparently been talking about this and they couldn't imagine why it would be a 3 day interview. What possibly could I be doing for 3 days?? I'm going to use any 'between time' to hand out resumes to other places, and sign up for temp agencies too. Shayne is looking for a new job (his temp place sucks I guess) so maybe we'll go together. At any rate wish me luck... I'm there from the 25-27th. And then next weekend me and my better half are flying to Nevada! Finally, some fun in the sun. I can't wait. Her parents are crazy, they got it all planned out. Lake Tahoe, Virginia City, Fandango's champagne brunch (and free drinks when you gamble! Gotta love NV).
Things have been stressful lately but you know, just gotta take it one day at a time.
