Today Stacy and I went to my mom's and had a nice Sunday night dinner. Stacy made her meatballs and everyone loved them (of course). My mom liked her other Christmas present (the one that arrived at my place after Christmas), which were custom coaster sets I made with pictures of her little dogs on them.
Anyway on our way home it started to snow but it was wet and the ground was not frozen so we drove in a ton of slush and ended up driving from Tacoma to Seattle doing about 35-40 MPH, careful not to hit any slush pockets. There were some spin-outs and someone in a ditch, as well as what appeared to be a pretty nasty looking accident in the middle of the freeway.
Its supposedly going to turn into rain soon, an rain until the wee hours so hopefully it'll wash the snow/slush stuff away and I can go in to the office to work tomorrow.
I am sick of it snowing here. Maybe if I had a better car with better tires, and didn't live on a hill, and the rest of the people in the Seattle area knew how to drive appropriately in this type of weather it wouldn't be so bad.
On the bright side... payday is Tuesday, yaY!
Oh and if I do have to work from home I get to sleep an extra hour. So that's good I guess.
