Eh, a day late with posting

So, started watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy with my mom, and she's loving it. To the point of bugging me to watch it with her and preventing me from doing other work.

Thus, I am not done with the study guides for Forensics (have five chapters to do, with a test Wednesday, so I need to get these done), nor have I had much time to read the Hyperchem manuals (there's six of them, all over 150 pages, so I need to find the relevant sections first). Plus I need to jump on my Inorganic presentation and get that out of the way.

Yeah, lots to do, not including defending my proposal (which will be hell; and I need to ask a professor if she'll be on my committee, but I'm nervous to because it's a bit last minute and I'm not sure if she'll have time before the end of the semester to be involved). This is the big one, though. If I can get this out of the way soon, I will be in the clear.

BUT! I did get pics! So, enjoy that:

The petticoat is awesome, and I think with a gauzy petticoat underneath it could work as a goth skirt all by itself (you can see a little bit of the hoops from the cage underneath right now; one more layer will take care of that).

The Gangster-Punkfit (what I'm calling this now) is just fun. :) I may change the shoes to slightly more plausible (big heels = hard to walk in, and I have some boot/shoes that look very post-apocalypse and might go better), but otherwise I think the outfit works. I'll be wearing this to help fiona_fawkes at Costume Con 31's Future Fashion Folio (if she wants me to ditch the face mask, I will, although it doesn't hinder my speech much).

At any rate, shower, school, and then studying. :P Did find out that CC32's theme is "Myths, Monsters, and Legends," which has me excited (and wondering, since the Phoenix is from a comic from the 50s, if I could pass that off as Historical or not... would be an excellent reason to do it!).
