"Believing is seeing..."
As much as I can, I'm going to try to start each entry with a cliche or a quote.
Now this topic is one of those very complicated ones out there--kind of like, "philosophy" which would make you question yourself about certain things--and that are still, up to this date, unanswerable.
So with much hesitation and deliberation... my views on religion are as follows:
1. Religion does not define the person and his/her faith
2. Faith defines the person's dedication, love and respect of his/her religion.
That's as far as I can go and think right now as i just came from a 3-hour trip from work.
Personally, it all comes down to the person and his/her faith--which should reflect in his/her religion.
I, myself am struggling with this one.
I'm a catholic. My cousins and tios and tias are born-again christians.
Sometimes, they would assume this and that about catholic people. It is ill-hearted but nevertheless, it's probably ignorance.
I have faith the size of a mustard seed. It's not as strong as others but I do try to have faith and trust God in basically everything. I have doubts, for sure, but in the end, so far, God has never let me down--especially in times where I feel unsafe, or LOST--which happens all the time (literally and figuratively).
It's always and only by grace that I'm saved.
Everyday, some message would come to me, and affirm what it is that I need to do...
That I affirm, I am blessed by God. =)
(i actually miss praising in Tongues...)
