"Everything should always be taken in moderation."
That's what I've always believed in.
Not with drugs though.
I haven't taken drugs ever. And I don't plan to, even though, I admit, I have been, at times, curious about it.
Drugs is just a no-no. Why? It just is bad. Period.
As for alcohol... It's a different case.
My lolo (grandpa) was a heavy-drinker. Three-times a day with his meal--at least that's what I remembered. He would drink Red Horse beer, Tanduay Rum, Ginebra Gin, Ginebra San Miguel beer. Now, I don't plan on doing that and following his footsteps. No sirree...
But I did start drinking at the tender age of 14. Or was it 13?
I don't actually remember. It was just one bottle of Gin-Pineapple--which tasted more like juice than gin, itself.
It was in Junior Year where I start to enjoy drinking. It may seem as I'm a drunkie--I'm not. I rarely get drunk because I drink in moderation.
Like I said, it's fun to drink as it loosens you up. Especially for me, who is very uptight when it comes to new people and new surroundings. I sort of need that drink to loosen me up just a bit and let my guard half-way down. NOW, NOT COMPLETELY DOWN, but half-down.
Everything in moderation is acceptable.
When it goes beyond that... things unimaginable happen, not to mention, things you regret doing, happen.
