The world is going to end tomorrow.

Jaejoong sits in the balcony overlooking the city- what was left of it anyway and smokes his stale cigarettes. It's surprising that this building is still even standing, what's more surprising is that he and Yoochun are still alive. He thought they'd be they'd be the first ones to go.

Everyone is hysterical, it wasn't uncommon to hear cries-of children, adults or animals at any given time. Chaos was everywhere, everyone was running around-trying to save something. What's the point? We're all going to disappear in fourty-eight hours anyway. He watches people running and screaming- crying, being in agony, being in pain, fearing for their lives. All he does is blow the smoke away from his face. There was no use anyway, why stop the inevitable?

He looks inside the makeshift home he and Yoochun managed to build. Yoochun's on the couch asleep, he looks dead tired, he's so malnourished he wonders how he even manages to still be alive. We'll all be dead in a while anyway. Jaejoong still manages to crack a smile at Yoochun's form on the couch.

He finishes off his cigarette and enters the room, closing the sliding doors behind him. He prepares food for the both of them- whatever he can manage and sets the table. He wakes Yoochun with a small shake and kisses him on the cheeks, Yoochun wakes up and groggily smiles at him- hey.

They eat their pitiful excuse for food and share a comfortable silence together. They smoke outside the balcony and share nostalgic memories with one another. They laugh, though there's still some underlying bitterness to it.

Remember when Changmin and Junsu had a games-who could stuff the most grapes in their mouths? And we had to bring Junsu to the hospital cause he started to choke-

That time time when Yunho knocked over our bookshelf  while dancing and was trapped underneath it-

That time when we were singing and YOU fell into the hole in the stage-

Or that time where you cried-well you always cry at concerts. . .

Today wasn't any different from the other days, but everything seems so much somber. Everything was quiet - no one was screaming, no one was crying, there was just deafening silence.

They go on with the day as normally as possible, they eat-joke around and manage to even play a round of tag across he room. It was as if the impending doom wasn't getting nearer by the second. They bring out the last remaining stale alcohol they had looted weeks before from a convenience store and try to makeshift a romantic dinner with candle lights. All their dinners were romantic anyway as long as they were together- it really doesn't matter anymore.

They make love on the bed, it's slow and full of passion, for that moment they are one and the same. They never once look away from each other, wanting to memorize the way the other looks- forever engraining in their minds this moment. All they have is this moment.

They were not meant to last forever, they were only meant to be timeless.

Jaejoong and Yoochun both go out to the balcony and watch the last sunset. They are covered in blankets and huddled together, holding each other close- so very close.

A tear falls from Yoochun's eyes and he looks at Jaejoong - I love you forever.

I love yo-
