Title: Blanket of Love
Pairing: OT5
Genre: Fluff, I think.
Rating: PG-13
Summary: "Thank you, hyung."
A/N: Christmas!fic. HOORAY! Though it's too early for this, I just wanted to share what I believe should be happening for TVXQ this Christmas. Hell, not only this Christmas. I believe with all my heart that they should be together for always. ANyway, they should be spared from all the shit that's been thrown at them by SME. I believe that even SME should just rest and cut the crap, even if it's just for Christmas, you know? Though I would want them to be together for always, this Christmas should be enough. Comment and enjoy, please. (:

The window fogged as he breathed, while watching the people get by with their lives in the streets of Seoul.

Snow blanketed the city, and as though the first few layers were not enough, it continued to fall, covering every nook and cranny it could reach.

He could see plowmen running around the sidewalks, scraping layers and layers of snow to prevent passersby from slipping. He witnessed how, even during holidays, businessmen still had scowls on their faces while holding their phones on one hand and talking rapidly, not even taking time to look at the Christmas lights decorated on the windows of the stores and the gates of houses.

He also could see how couples walk hand in hand, big smiles on their faces, not caring about anything else but the other.

He saw a family walking by and his heart ached.

FAMILY. Christmas should be spent with the family. But he can't go to his parents' home and now, the family he had shared this apartment with has been broken apart.

He looked away from the window and got out of his room, intending to grab something to drink.

He sat on the couch and a rush of memories came to him of when they would just laze around the couch and talk about irrelevant things like ordinary friends, like brothers, like an ordinary family.

ChangMin willed his tears not to fall, blinking his eyes a couple of times to push them back.

As he sat there too engrossed in his thoughts, the front door of the apartment opened, revealing four, count 'em, FOUR men carrying grocery bags.

Min's eyes flew wide and he jumped up towards them, examining the other three's faces to see if they were truly real, and not just something his imagination cooked up.

"Minnie, what're you doing?" JaeJoong asked, a soft smile on his lips.

"Uh." Unconsciously, his tears started to fall.

His hyungs immediately dropped the bags and enveloped him in a hug.

"Min-min, why're you crying?" YooChun asked, tearing up as well.

"Minnie-ah, don't cry." JunSu whispered, his voice quivering as he realized the reason for ChangMin's tears.

"Hyung. Hyung. Hyung." Min chanted, his heart bursting with happiness.

The four laughed after hearing their dongsaeng chant the honorific over and over.

"Come on, magnae. Stop crying." YunHo commanded softly, feeling his eyes water.

"I can't, hyung. I don't know why, but I just can't stop crying."

They all cried, holding and supporting each other in their group hug.

Moments later found the group on their couch, snuggling up to each other.

"Thank you, hyung." ChangMin turned to their leader.

"For what?" YunHo asked as JaeJoong rested his head on YunHo's chest.

YooChun and JunSu still held ChangMin in between them as they listened carefully to what the youngest was about to say.

"Thank you. For bringing our family back together for Christmas."

As the snow continued to blanket the city, TVXQ sat on their couch, blanketing their family with love.

NOTE: I'm praying for a very bright TVXQ!Christmas. I'm tearing up. *gets bricked*
