OMG xD so you've never seen that performance before? i loved it the first time i saw it. the part where key and jong sing together is abso-fucking-lutely awesome!!! and i agree, not just one line, give key MORE FUCKING LINES!!! it's easier on jong's voice and he can still be main vocal, jfc. and yeah, i think that r'n'b stuff is really better for shinee. they should quit being contemporary and not try to sound good for fucking autotune-electro when they can't hold those long notes.

I think I've been a shawol for about a year? I got into them towards the end of their Hello Baby broadcasts, but anything before RDD I only slightly paid attention to (dbsk ahem, was a bit distracting). A lot of the older things have been deleted, and I can't stand fuzzy youtube videos, so I haven't seen a lot of older performances from them. lol.
I don't think it's the whole electro/contemporary thing. It's more like a songwriter's fault. (I know YYJ loves wailing but not everyone can wail THAT much). Their older stuff wasn't that wail-y. Though rnb >>>> electro music imo. Idk why Key's lines have...diminished? He was barely there for Hello.
lmao most profs don't really care if you skip, they might get miffed but in the end it's no skin off their nose. it's mostly super awkward and embarrassing when you see them though.
yeah i also started last year in the middle of hello baby, but my friend converted me, so she shared all the awesome old stuff with me. xD
i think...they try to concentrate on jonghyun/onew more now, so that's why i think the put in more wailing...it demonstrates their strong points (even though their voices still get too strained from it)...but the other 3 members ofc would have trouble competing with that. v-v it's just plain stupid imho. i also wonder why key's lines increased. also if you saw early dance performances, he was really strong at the powerful dances...and now taemin is like the main dancer...it's just unfair, considering he's so talented.
you have it good lmao. XD we needed to attend almost all classes (3x absent was allowed, since people also have jobs etc.) or we didn't get full credit.
