silly silliness!
today i got glasses!!!and irealized that people have eyebrows, and individual hairs, the tress even have flowers on them! i also found out that alot of people smile.. and so this is how it made me feel today. super warm and fuzzy.
looking through the lens of a better view on a better day
to see the that others smile too,
and for the first time you notice the crinkles that form around their eyes
and the curves of their mouths, and feel of their laughter
like warm sun on your face, it reaches to every particle until it feels so full
of energy of life, of happiness
everyone is smiling in this sunlight and we can stand next to strangers on this one day and look them in the eye.
How many times do we stand next to people for that long bus ride, walk next to them on that block, or shop for that same item. And we never look at them, our fellow human beings, we never look them in the eye, nod at them, ask, ‘how is your day?’ or comment on our commonality. Today, for the first time, we looked each other in the eyes, we raised our fingertips to our brow with a jovial smirk, and said hello. Today we realized that our smiles matched each other, from the wrinkles around our mouths, to the sparkle in our eyes. Today we realized that it wasn’t they, or them, it was you and me.
