(no subject)
I had a saved draft that I started about 2 weeks ago but never finished and posted. Whoops!
So I never updated about Christmas. Not sure if I will. Uploading all those pictures doesn't sound like fun :P
We're all moved into our new house and we love it! We moved in last weekend and I've been unpacking and organizing all week.
Even with various things going on.......
Tuesdays I watch a 3 and 5 year old now from 9-3. Henry and Lydia. The kids all get along great!
Wednesday mornings Keira and I have ECFE and Thursday mornings we have Bible study.
I really didn't want to go anywhere this week. I just wanted to stay home and finish unpacking and organizing.
I was glad I sucked it up and went though.
My brother and the kids stayed over Friday night and then helped with the big move on Saturday. They ended up staying the night with us at our new house on Saturday night and Barb came after work. It's nice having so much room for everyone now!
Fortunately Jared and I moved a ton of boxes and stuff over during the previous week so Saturday was mostly big stuff and garage stuff. We still have a few things over there and need to clean and do a little painting. Lame :/
Jack got an ear infection last week so we had to miss Bible Study. He's better now though and just finished up a round of Amoxicillin.
Keira and I both have colds. I was hoping to sleep in today a bit but she was in my bed at 6:30 and could hardly breath out of her nose :(
So sick of this time of year and all the sickness!!
My brother and the kids are staying over again this Saturday and then Sunday morning we're going to my sister's house for Simon's brithday party.
We only had 1 couch at our old house. We had a 2nd on on the porch for a while but got rid of it. Jared's mom is giving us her couch because she's getting a new one. We have our couch down in the family room and no couch in the living room yet. Jared and our friend John are going to pick it up Sunday morning while we're at the birthday party. It'll be so nice to have a couch in the living room again! We've been getting by with the chaise and the glider but that's just not cutting it :P
My mom was a huge help during our move too. She pretty much watched all 4 kids as well as unpacked and put away all my kitchen stuff!! She moved stuff around several times and still wasn't real happy with the outcome but it was just nice to have it all unpacked and put away. I moved everything around yesterday and now it's pretty much perfect :P
My main focus today will be the sun room. Everything is unpacked but it needs organizing.
