Easter recap
Saturday was a really nice day so after breakfast and coloring eggs we packed a lunch and went for a walk and stopped at 2 parks. The kids got good and worn out. During their nap I ran out for last minute stuff for their Easter baskets. I also picked up a Wii Fit Plus!! We decided that would be our anniversary gift to each other since yesterday was our 5 year anniversary. It's really cool and I'm so glad we got it. I'll be on there later today whilst shoving Easter candy in my yap ;)
Yesterday morning the kids started their Easter egg hunt as soon as they woke up. Keira was struggling a bit because she was so excited to see the Dora eggs that she didn't want to part with them by putting them in her basket :P She finally caught on and started looking for more. We're pretty sure there's still 1 that hasn't been found. Oh well. After they found the eggs they found their baskets on the porch and were super excited with their loot.
We hung out for the rest of the morning and the kids played with their new stuff. We played with the Wii Fit Plus a bit. Even Jack tried a few of the activities. I cleaned and organized a bit and then got ready to go to my mom's while the kids napped. My mom's shindig started at about 2:30. Keira's lacking in the dress shoe department. She has several pairs that are too small and several that are too big. I didn't feel like running out and buying her a pair so she rocked the pink converse with her pretty pink dress. I think she looked super cute :o)
We hung out for a bit at my mom's and then the kids started their Easter egg hunt. They had fun gathering them and then playing with their loot. Chasing bubbles and eating jelly beans :o)
We had a delicious ham dinner and then played out in the yard for a quite a while before coming home. The kids had fun playing with aunt Cathy and uncle John. They were pretty wiped out when we got home.
