Kiki leaves for Christmas break
"C'mon, Jiji! We need to hurry," Kiki says excitedly, stuffing clothes into her courier bag. "This is our first time home in six months, and we only have a few days there. I don't want to miss a minute!"
Yes, which is why I advised you to pack last night, Jiji replies, raising an eyebrow. You'll notice I travel marvelously light.
"Well, then, I'm set, if you are," answers Kiki, winding her scarf around her neck. Jiji follows her as she climbs the stairs to the roof, and hops onto the broomstick as she swings her leg over it. Kiki hops lightly off the edge of the roof, dropping a short few feet before her magic catches her, lifting her over the grounds of the school.
Kiki makes a circuit of the town, waving to the people she sees as she passes overhead. Ben, Michael, Red, Tonks, Mr. Wonka, Maggie... She looks a little melancholy as she thinks that Crowley has still not returned. Kiki then makes a special low pass to fly slowly past the bookstore so she can wave to Aziraphale through the window as she goes. "Happy Holidays!" She calls brightly.
Her farewells spoken, Kiki pulls the nose of her broom up into the cool air and disappears among the clouds, her burgundy scarf trailing behind her like a pennant.
She'll be back in Fandom in a few days.
