(no subject)
Got the results of my first test yesterday and I made a 103. I've made 100+ on all my homework assignments, quizzes, and test. I'd say that's off to a good start. I'm actually enjoying my algebra class. I have a great teacher and some really nice people in my class. It's a change that I have enjoyed. Even the homework. I wonder how long that will last.
My apartment complex left a notice on the door yesterday saying that they would be inspecting fire extinguishers today and that we should set them outside our doors. (I can already see the children getting hold of these and playing with them.) Well, I sat mine next to the door so I wouldn't forget to put it out this morning. Lu decided to check it out and ended up spraying himself right in the face/chest. He looked like a ghost with that white shit all over him. The only problem is that now I have this coarse, white film over everything in my living room. I cleaned some of it up, but not all. I've got finish cleaning today because I'm sure it's not good to breathe that crap.

1) I got home at 7:00 PM to find a notice on my door the water was going to be shut off beginning at 6:00 for four to six hours. They said it was an emergency and couldn't be helped. The good news is that it was only three hours.
2) My toilet had been making strange noises for the last two days which I chose to ignore. That was a bad idea because now the tank won't fill up with water. I had to fill it with a pitcher every time I go to the bathroom. Maintenance better have it fixed today.
3) It rained again last night and again this morning and my roof is still leaking. I've already reported it to maintenace twice. Luckily it's leaking near my back door and not in the middle of the room or in my bedroom.
