*panic*

Oh, good lord, I'm going to have a nervous breakdown.

I almost did, twice at work today.

To make a long story short, I am going to be at work tomorrow for at least 13 hours. If I'm planning on eating or taking any breaks, then probably more like 14. We're assembling 80 microcolonies, three bumblebees to each microcolony, and it takes 10 minutes per microcolony. And they ALL have to be done tomorrow. Plus, it's the beginning of Angela's real grad project (not just trial runs), so if we screw up, or if the bees screw up... we screw up her whole project. I can't even tell you how stressed out that makes me.

In addition to these lovely 80 microcolonies, a bunch of REALLY important people from a pesticide complany that funds some of my Honey bee and European Corn Borer research are coming to see our work. There's four of us that are going to be under the microscope by these guys, and then they're taking us out to lunch. Which means I have to have RESULTS. I don't HAVE any results yet. I don't have TIME to get results any more because of these goddamned bumblebees! *smashes head on table* *repeatedly*

Bloody fucking hell.

bug geek!, work, bees
