My friend's wife had an MRI to assess how the tumors have responded to the chemo therapy. Despite the fact that they were expecting the worst the results were hopefull.
2 of the 3 tumors have shown response and decreased in size. The one that didn't respond is the deepest in her brain and the smallest to begin with. Only the non-responding tumor is of a size to be treated by Cyberknife so they will do another 3 months of chemo and then do another MRI. They won't do the Cyberknife until/unless all of the tumors can be treated.
The baby has broken the 6 lb mark, he will know for sure today how far above 6 she is, but she's made it to that point.
