Total of 13 vids, which includes 5 vidlets.

I always find weird things when I watch my yearly vids all in a row. This year was saturated with Fringe because a loved it and I can't stop vidding Anna Torv's face. I really liked the color blue too.

My favorite video this year (of my own)
I think A Bar in Amsterdam (Ginger Snaps trilogy) might be the best vid I've ever made. I certainly love it the most and think it has many of the aspects I love like blood, fighting, kick ass ladies, monsters, maggots, guts, running, creepy imagest, guns, knives, pretty lights, snow, scary dreams, fire, love, and more blood.

Least favorite
I would have to say I Wish It Was Christmas Today because it was clumsy fun. I love Parks & Recreation, 30 Rock, The Office, and Community. I also love Christmas and adore Christmas episodes. It's my least favorite because it's not pretty or all that great, but I still like it because I had fun and I love making Christmas vids.

Most successful
For how short it was and the concept, twinkle, twinkle (Doctor Who). I didn't expect a wee widdle vidlet to get as many comments as it did. I shouldn't underestimate how terrifying the Weeping Angels are.

Video most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion
Heads Will Roll (Misfits) because Misfits wasn't a huge fandom at the time and Alisha used to be most people's least favorite character. Fandom has grown with the second season and her character has climbed up a lot of people's favorites list. For the record, she was my favorite before everyone else liked her. I'm so glad she got more to do in the second season and people have realized how amazing she really is. That being said, I don't think people understood what I was doing in the vid.

Most fun video
It was awesome to make I Threw it on the Ground (Legend of the Seeker) because it took almost no time at all and it was for pure LOLZ. The fact that anyone else enjoyed it was a bonus to my own laughter.

Video with single sexiest moment
Hmmm, Anna Torv's sexface, thighs, and sheet clutching in Let's Go Fucking Mental (Charlie Jade/Fringe)

Biggest vid fail
so say we all iii (Rise) (Battlestar Galactica) because the show made me so angry in the last half of the final season. I wanted to manipulate it into what I wanted it to be. I did that partly, but watching the vid made me pissed off at the show all over again. It's vid fail in that it's nothing like what the show actually was and I couldn't manipulate it into exactly what I wanted because the show didn't give me what I needed. Blarg. I was able to make the vid I wanted, but it wasn't for Battlestar Galactica, it was We Are All Connected (Stargate Universe). The idea and concept that I wanted for the last season of Battlestar Galactica was sadly/fortunately something that Stargate Universe was able to accomplish in its first season.

Hardest video to make
Double Helix (Fringe) because rendering was a giant pain. Clips kept changing from one source file to the other magically. It took a horrid amount of time to fix and render out in small corrected pieces. I still don't know what exactly happened to the source files to make them rearrange themselves in the clips on the timeline. The editing itself was nothing compared to the difficulty of going back to relocate the right episode, then the right clip. I'm to go cry in the corner like Walter if I think about it more.

Most unintentionally *telling* video
Rewatching U. R. A. Fever (Fringe) I realized little things of my real life that had slipped into the vid without my noticing, like how the car accident played out, how Olivia gets the engagement ring and then starts blowing shit up, shooting people, and punching immediately. I had that section worked out narratively in my head with John, Peter, and getting twisted about. Looking at it, it makes a lot of sense in a personal way too.

Things I've learned
I learned how to mash up audio for Lullaby (Fringe). I didn't do it well, but I played around with it and I'm happy with the results. I did it with The Dream and the Tunnel Pie House Rats (Fringe), where I think it worked better.

I'd been studying other vids through bradcpu's Vidder Profiles Series. I listened, watched, and then pillaged to try something new in my own vidding. I would listen to other vidders talk about their thoughts, styles, and techniques, then I'd absorb them into my own approach to try them on.

Things to work on
I'll be amazed if I get any vidding done in the next year. I have no idea what my life is going to be like. I have a bunch of in progress vids, but I've somewhat lost interest in many things, like LJ and vidding. I still love them both, but they were the first things I abandoned when my life got more complicated this year.

I guess I do so many bizarre vids that the most bizarre thing I could do now it a "typical" vid. I do want to try a multifandom vid that doesn't suck.

Vid projects I definitely want to get finished this upcoming year
LOL, I never finish the vids I list in this part, so I'm going to say finishing any vid this year is a plus.

And in addition:
If there is any question you would like to ask me about any one of my vids, then go ahead! What I meant by a particular clip or sequence, why I chose to highlight that characterization, why I chose that song, what crack I was taking and where you can get some...anything. Anything you might like to know about how I made a vid, I shall do my best to answer.
