Earlier today I discovered that I still had pictures from the Milan Airport on my camera and I'm just now having a delayed reaction to them. It's good 'cause it'll motivate me to get the refund stuff into Expedia, 'cause they're crooks if they don't pay for the ticket I had to buy in Milan (and, I feel, for the overweight bag too since I had my stuff checked all the way to Detroit before I got to Cairo and had the bomb dropped on me).
Bitterness about Expedia's incompetence aside, I am tired. I should've gone to bed an hour and a half ago to get a full night's rest, but I needed to get my stuff for storage out of the hallway and into the van, and I also ended up continuing a previous conversation with Eric. It was good to continue, though the questions it was dealing with still aren't resolved for me. Life is so confusing and complicated :-) - only God can really sort it all out.
My class with Mojo got all emotional tonight, and it was a privilege that so many people shared so much of their lives with me, (in some cases) a complete stranger to them. Our lives all seemed to have a common thread and it was both encouraging and discouraging too. Good to see people as they are though, and neat also to find out so many were MKs that I had no idea were from that kind of background.
My plans to go down to Chicago the last weekend of the month are firming up and I'm really excited about it. It's been too long since I saw Josh (my roommate from high school), and going to the opera with him (and whoever else ends up wanting to go) will be sweet if it works out (we're planning on Poulenc's "Dialogues des Carmelites," which sounds like an interesting look at the French Revolution). I'm hoping to join Archbishop Job for the Sunday of Orthodoxy services as well, but I still don't know if he's in town at all or really what the Chicago-area churches do for the feast :-/.
Так, это всё - я хочу спать. Hope you're all well! I know some of you may not be, and if it's so please let me know if there's anything I can do. Seriously.
