Feast of St. Photius

Today was a confused today. I heard some rather bizarre news about a former SAU professor and really didn't quite know what to make of it. His choices are strange enough, but his desire to continue teaching at SAU considering what it stands for and the kind of person it attracts is even stranger to me. (Well, perhaps not stranger considering what he's doing, but definitely quite odd.)

Aside from the above the day was a good one. I slept, I met with my adviser, I ate, I slept some more (in class unfortunately :-/ ), I worked. I took a nap in the early evening and then went to retrieve something from the Keasters' new basement and ended up staying to have my second (and better) supper with them and the Browns. Good times.

Tyler forgot his cell phone at Holy Ascension early this evening, so when I got back from the Browns' and Keasters' I went with him and Greg back over to Albion to pick up his phone, which was quite fun :-). It was fun to surprise Father, and the conversations on the way to and from that bustling metropolis were good.

It's looking like I'll be going to Chicago the last weekend of this month to visit friends there and to go to an opera to cover my skippage of a class trip to the opera the same weekend. My high school roommate may go with me too, and I'm excited about that since I haven't seen him for a while now.

I've spent my time since getting back from Albion putting together a newsletter and Lenten/spring calendar for the SAU OCF's e-mailing list. That's almost done, but still has a few things in need of "tweaking" :-). (A "You've Got Mail" reference for those among my reader(s) who don't have it memorised :-).) All I've got left is a bit of homework for CORE400 and I'll be set for bed - thank God there's no chapel on Tuesdays.

Your prayers as always. I hope all is well with you.
