I'm a 5-year old. I'm 21 too though! My great work in life is increasing the maturity of the one without finishing off the ability to have fun of the other...

And I don't care what people like Shannon say - eggnog RULES. Especially when you get late night cravings from your night class.

It's as cold here as it is during the day in Nizhniy Novgorod right now. Their low is 10 degrees celsius below Spring Arbor's though, so I'm somewhat thankful for that difference, though once it drops several degrees below 0 it's hard for me to tell the difference since it's all hell frozen over to me.

Car issues (of course - what's life without them?). It's kind of like Monopoly - 'go to jail, pay $###.'

Chapel today; my second in 7 or 8 months. I looked into the penalties for just skipping them all and after the seventh skip it's no longer worth it. The Lord must have a sense of humor.

I missed Mojo. He's cool. He's so random...

Дима Билан was in Chicago 3 or 4 days ago and I missed him. It's a blow ;-). I'll survive it though (somehow).

I miss Russia. I miss Russian. I miss the feeling I got in late November of actually making progress in speaking/understanding Russian. Now my foreign language defaults are a mix of Russian and Amharic, probably with French words thrown in here and there. It's just ridonculous.

"Do [I] speak Arabic?" No. I hate most of the workers I had to deal with in the Cairo Airport though! Hate is too strong a word of course, but everyone who reads this should know I exaggerate things from time to time. And I do still love Middle Eastern food and Antiochian and Jerusalemite Orthodox churches. And Byzantine chant, which is influenced. (Or did some influencing - probably both.)

What is Europe? Whatever it is, their airlines need to get souls. African airlines sometimes have souls. American airlines are sloppy and it can look like soul now and again. European airlines have no souls, and they allow Turkish Airlines to use their major airports. BIG mistake.

I'm going to close these ramblings before they get too out of hand.

Oh, I went to Bob Evans for breakfast today with my очень amazing sister and got hotcakes. I think I'd heard of them before, but I'm pretty sure I'd never knowingly had them before, and they were great. Too many, but great.

Whoops, chapel time! I have to go :-(. Yes, the Lord has a sense of humor...
