...into BTB Da Future. That is how it's spelled, right? Not that good spelling will make it any better of a joke, but that's the kind of stuff I concern myself with. I'm super surprised that August is only three days away. It's going to be strange not having to post on here every night, I imagine.
Today's been pretty relaxed. Slept until a little after one so that I wouldn't have to bother with anything that might have happened in the aftermath of last night, and when I finally got up, Jessica seemed entirely rejuvenated. We talked a little bit more, and I related some of the advice I got from you guys, though I didn't mention where I got it. I figure she probably wouldn't be too happy about me blabbing stuff she told me in confidence to the internet, even if the chance of somebody she knows reading it is really unlikely. Admittedly, it did feel pretty gossipy, but I had to get it out somewhere. Fortunately, here turned out to be the perfect place for it. Thanks again you guys.
I ate another two bowls of that Keebler cereal this morning, and I'm already bored with it. It reminds me too much of that Oreo cereal that we used to eat, except somewhat less tasty. I think I'll lay off of it for a while and switch to Cocoa Puffs. I was disappointed when I saw we only got chocolate cereals this past shopping trip. Don't get me wrong; I love chocolate, but whenever I eat a chocolatey cereal it makes my mouth feel all chunky, and not in a good way.
I finished up relistening to my Soft Cell album during my lunch break, and on the way home, one of the songs snuck up on me, leaving me itching to make an American Idol video. I should check to see if American Idol was even released on DVD. I'm pretty sure it wasn't, so I'll probably have to use TV rips if I do it, but I still haven't decided if I want to give in just yet. I probably won't, if for no other reason but not wanting to search across six or seven seasons of episodes for footage. Besides, even if I do decide to make it, it won't be for several months at least, because I made myself a promise. To tell the truth, I'm still debating whether or not I should make a video for Acen next year. Yes, I'm thinking way too far ahead, but it's a lot less stressful to surrender early and focus on other things instead. The only thing that's really making me want to try and get a video done is that I've been trying to enter this same video since 2006. If I start early, I can probably make it in time, but I'll also have to be thinking about school, work, and moving preparations, in addition to finishing stuff for FMV2. Crap, I still haven't reencoded those death scenes for Todd, and they've been on here for at least a few months already.
Work was crazy busy tonight and painfully understaffed. I lucked into two credits, which brings my total for the week up to five. Ten more by the end of Saturday and I get a free lunch with a manager! I'm feeling pumped! This is gonna be the week. I can feel it!
Speaking of work, Pravind got back from her vacation today and mentioned that they were still considering my availability. Apparently there's still a chance I might get that promotion after all. Woohoo!
Shortly after I got home from work, I talked my dad into starting up the new Eureka~! It took a while because there was some French Canadian movie on called Leolo, and it was... very interesting. I came in toward the very end, but the scene with his grandfather in the tub was entertaining enough for me to want to watch the rest of it some time later. Anyway, Eureka was awesome as expected. I had no idea I had missed that opening theme music so much. I was a little upset at first, because the recording started right into the show, but it turned out to just be an awesome musical promo. I'm still a little weirded out by all the couplings that came about from season 2, but at least there's no sign of Carter's new girlfriend yet. Zoey's guy on the other hand had an appearance in the preview for next week, so boo on that. If I had a choice between the two, I'd let laundry lady stay. In other news, I want Vince's fridge. Seriously, that thing is ridiculous. Not as ridiculous as the product placement at the end of the episode, but any refrigerator that needs a shuttle to navigate is awesome in my book. I really hope Taggart is still on the show, but he isn't listed on the official site, and I didn't see any sign of him in the next episode preview, which I would expect him to play a major role in. Hunting creatures IS supposed to be his job after all. I really need to rewatch season 2. Maybe I should be a bad boy and buy it this weekend. Maybe. :X
Oh yeah, and I got my new Shonen Jump tonight. Some exciting developments going on with Bleach and One Piece. Jaden's win in Yugioh GX was pretty kickass too. As usual, I can hardly wait until the next issue.
