hello! this is random, but i met you at the HP OoTP screening that meredyth_13 organised at Hoyts Melbourne Central a few weeks ago, and I thought I recognised you when I saw you, but it wasn't until a few days later that it clicked where I think we've met - do you by any chance work for the theatre at the Altona Civic Centre??? If not, please feel free declare me a lunatic as publicly as you wish :D If you DO, I just have to marvel at what a small world it is!
its literally the most random thing ever, but i NEVER forget a face - in May friends of mine produced a short film over there (we were shooting in the theatre), and I was on the crew - i think on the very first day of shooting was when you were there and you introduced yourself and gave us some ground rules - and that is literally the ONLY time i ever saw you before!!! Until the movie screening that is, lol. so weird, when i got there i thought your face looked really familiar but i couldn't place it, and it was bugging me incessantly until i worked out where i knew you from.
Ohh, I remember you guys! You had the fake blood in the foyer, right? That's crazy that we'd bump in to each other again. How did the film turn out in the end? I hope it went well for ya'll. I remember seeing one of your cast members dressed up in tight black clothes...with a mask on, maybe? And he was standing over...Marni, the Producer? I think. Fuzzy memories!
Yeah, thats exactly right! The film went great (the actors were fantastic and some of the production stills are online here if you'd like to see how creepy your workplace looks!!!) but its unfortunately having some post-production trouble. It's taking quite a bit longer than expected, but I'm hoping it all works out. Everyone worked so hard!
I have to tell you, your theatre can do creepy, creaky wind-whistles like nothing else, lol.
Haha, it was actually most likely the theatre ghost you heard. We do have one - oh, the stories I've been told! Just imagine the same thing when you're alone at 3am sorting through costumes or painting sets. It's awful, heh.
I hope everything works out post-prod wise. Let me know if there's a screening - I'd love to come along, and I'm sure a few other people from the theatre wouldn't mind either!
