I got my face melted on stage by one of the local Guitar Hero experts. It was awesome.
I stayed out much later than I had planned, but I drank only one more beer than my initial quota of two, so it turned out alright. The crowd was fun, a bunch of nice people there to geek out on the video game projected on The High Dive's huge screen.
I think the best part about it was that the sound was being pumped through the main speakers, so it was a much different experience than playing on a regular TV. It was set up for head-to-head guitar dueling. Plus you were on stage. I'm definitely going the next time they have it.
I think I'm pretty decent for having played only three times. I want more. :)
