Summer fun is on the way...
School is coming to an end and my little man Cole walked in for his last day of preschool today and I was almost in tears...I will miss walking him in every morning and holding his sweet hand... he will not walk into the building without my hand... he never cries but just needs some extra comfort ...and that is just fine with me... he has grown so much this year... he has achieved great things and even the smallest goal meet is a great thing for such a little man!!! I got to see him twice this week once yesterday while he was coming in from a picnic lunch ... got some quick kisses...and love and today on the play ground... and I tossed him up in the air and squeezed him (just knowing next year I will not get too-) and one little friend on the playground said, "hey what are you doing to him..." he did not know I was mom...but it was cute... protective little friends are always good ones!!!
So Eli has had a fun week as well... they had field day yesterday and for my little sports fanatic this was the best day ever!!! Mom did not fair quite as well... I stood outside from 8-3 manning the trash in the yard relay... smokin' - burnt' - tired!!! and it was Monday -- now we have all week ...shew!!! I vote that Field day is the last day of school --- get them wound up and let them stay home!!! Overall it was a beautiful day for it - granddaddy came and watched Eli -- and brought us a chair ...
So the rest of the week we are closing things down... not much going on... Eli's teacher is letting them bring board games one day ... movies from home/with a blank and pillow...and then thursday just clean clean clean... We are floating around helping our teachers clean out as much as we can...
Now to the real focus of the week ... Wedding day... is Saturday... our little baby boy... our first little man is getting married... I still have a hard time thinking he is old enough for this... but we are thrilled that he has found such a sweet young lady to add to our family... Bradley and Sally will be going to the Chapel and they are going to get married!!! We have been singing this for months... I still can't believe they are brave enough to ask all our babies to walk down the aisle with them... I am trying not to think about the what if's and just let them get what they ask for... Cole I can only imagine might sing or dance all the way ... and Dannah might not even do it... but we will see... and add Paige's kids in the mix and we might just have our own party or fight ... we are all glammed up thanks to Evan... we have most of our clothes together... and pretty much know our schedule... we look forward to time well spent with our closest friends and family... and pray for sunshine and sweet spirits that day!!! So at 4pm -- give a little prayer that we get them married without a hitch!!! I will be sure to take lots of pictures and have good stories when we get back...and then summer will begin... pj's and sleeping in!!! I can't wait!!!!
