After two normals days at school this week I wake up Wednesday morning and yet again get a 6am call on the cell... honestly those make me nervous they are never good... So after a rough week ... a long week...in which I damaged my hand as well as the added stress this week brought... pity party or partly due to timing and hormones I just exploded this week....overflowed with emotions and everyone getting on my last nerves...I let everyone have it Friday... and I felt better for it... the more I got it out the ( Read more... )

I woke up this morning and had several missed calls on my phone from my friends at the school the kids go to that I worked with last year... one of the aides that I worked very very close with last year...and a very dear friend who I still emailed weekly and loved so dearly...died last night... she is in her early 40's - very active and healthy -- ( Read more... )

I love this time of year...the breeze is blowing and it turning brisk outside!!! I am ready to begin wearing more clothes because now if I am freezing at least I don't look like the dork wearing winter in the summer... as Ramona would say, "You can put on more than I can take off!!!" So I still feel the stress from this past month in my shoulders and neck!!! I have not had normal sleep in so long I am on overdrive!!! Eli went for our second follow up appointment last week and it was narrowed down to "walking pneumonia" - blood test were clear... but he responded so well to the first antibiotic that she kept him on it and put ( Read more... )

So I took Eli back to the dr this morning for a follow up check after our hospital stay and she still thought his right lung sounded crackly ...so blood work (trauma) and x-rays and pneumonia -- but at least we are treating at home...and we are continuing our albuterol every four hours ...along with our steroid...and now antibiotics ... no school ( Read more... )
