kidkrazy is tired...but the name says it all...
our daily dose for today -- I got to spend quality time with Cole's teacher and her daughter -- love the mount of "olive!" And unplanned but welcomed chance to be with my middle son alone -- we hit target for some last minute trip needs and of coarse a thomas train to boot!!! He and I had a very calm outing -- and made a few compromises along the way but I treasure that alone time with him -- thanks tan!!! I owe you now and this time Seth will not get a black eye!!! I must say I could have been really doing more today with my packing but I enjoyed this nice spring weather and the company of friends -- since working I don't get to have play dates much and I took advantage today -- and like always before a trip I don't sleep well thinking of the list in my head off all I must not forget -- Darby as my witness the medicine cabinet is packed!!! It came first -- the snack are on the counter for a weeks worth of travel foods -- not all are organic!!! sorry jj and kk!!! I have most of our stuff back and sitting by the door -- the most productive time for me is after the monkeys are asleep and I can really get moving -- now I am worked up and you see what time it is -- we will be sleeping in the morning!! no worries I will be fine to drive!!!
For those of you interested -- mother and daddy have called three times today -- they called twice yesterday when they arrived in Savannah -- just to rub it in that they were enjoying a city I long to go to -- for the homes and environment -- and food -- but they did not get to eat at Lady and Sons but daddy went in and got me a few pictures!! proud of him!!! They enjoyed all the sites and this morning he called to wake me up and let me know they were heading down to Jacksonville! They then called again when they were sitting on the ship -- and again just rubbed it in -- and had already meet a couple on their 50th ann. with grandkids and kids there to help celebrate -- daddy said they were feeling a bit guilty we were not all there -- but I say "ENJOY!!!" HAVE MERCY!!! I know they will and I thank God for allowing them to be at this point in life where they can enjoy!!!
