So what a week -- our week started out with lots of anticipation and excitement ... Monday I got my hair cut -- Mark's suggestion (meaning it must have looked pretty bad!) Evan my dear friend well she is good at fixing me and as we like to say "bringing sexy back" -- sometimes in mommy land we forget ourselves and I am very good at this -- I just put off and put off until it gets really bad!!!! Oh well -- some of us it comes easier for than others -- so go easy!!! Anyway back to our week!!! I also got blessed this week to be able and go to heaven three times!!!! And when I say heaven you just would have to me to know that this truly was a dream come true!!! I attend three field trips to the GOLDEN FLAKE FACTORY!!!!!!!! Heaven!!!! Let me just say -- if I worked there my job would be at the end of the conveyer belt with my mouth wide open and 2 litter Coke to boot!!! They would fire me first day!!! I would be very unproductive!!! Let me just give you run down - I was eager to wear a hair net these past few days -- the funny part was when one child's shirt was covered in chip residue -- I knew if someone was taping us it would not be a pretty sight -- we were like pigs eating slop both hands full and stuffing as much in as possible ready for the next handful!!! And the best was the hot tostitos!!! Have mercy!!! The worst was pork skin vinegar -- never try them trust me!!! Okay -- I know -- enough already!!!
Tuesday -- our first dance pictures!!! I steamed our tutu it is pink with flowers and hot glued our flowers for our hair on a clip -- ran to Homewood in 5 o'clock 280 traffic and picked up new white ballet shoes and tights for tots!!! Got her hair just right and little powder and lip gloss to boot!!! Then we head to the studio as we get out near disaster - she tripped and got a boo boo -- bandaide - check -- no tears -- shew!!! Then 18 other little princesses all jumping off the wall -- have mercy!!! and Dannah would not crack a smile!!! I was soo worried --I also stressed over the wording for our program picture -- I wanted it to be just so -- as my girlfriend sat there and put "We love you Poot" -- but in prayer God always seems to give me just the right words and so therefore almost in tears I rejoice and place my order "Dannah Marie" "You are our sunshine ~ you light up our lives and dance in our hearts" PERFECT!!! And oh the picture -- she sat up on the stool and was picture perfect -- sweet baby smile and the photographer even commented on how well she did!!! (of coarse she is mine!!)
After pictures and lots of them -- with most of the girls not participating well it was finially over and I can't wait for recital!!! It should be just as much chaos only seeing them perform for the first time in most of their lives -- should be priceless!!! Note to self get the video camera dusted off and working!!!
So the rest of the week -- well -- Valentine's -- card and lots of love -- we try!!! I did not have much on me this year since I am not the room mom!!! But I enjoyed getting a cake for the some of the gals and guy that I work with and sharing my love to them and good eats are always welcome!!! My secret pal must know me pretty well -- I got a key chain with a picture of my little monkey's on it -- favorite picture of them!!! yeah!! I love you secret pal whoever you are--- The day went by and my secret admirer did pretty well too!!! I got lots of love from him and a few goodies that just make my heart smile!!! He knows me soo well and I love being spoiled!!! Thanks Marcus for spoiling me - loving me -- putting up with me -- and always making me laugh -- YOU so Totally Rock Dude!!!
We also have some very exciting changes in our home this week -- Mark has been offered a position we can not turn down -- he will be working with a fortune 100 company and we are thrilled at the opportunity -- he will be getting ready to fly out in a few weeks to headquarters for training and if all goes as planned the kids and I will join him the last week (our spring break) so that we can visit with one of my best friends who lives in the area and see Daddy earlier!! I am praying we can handle two weeks -- can't imagine three without him -- and I know he will feel the same -- although why is it us moms usually don't get opportunities like this -- three weeks in a hotel room does not sound so bad after a long day!!!!!! (i know i know -- I would not last -- just a wishful thought of peace and quiet!!)
Anyway -- I hope you all have had a great week and enjoy your President's Day -- it has taken a while to write this -- I have come back several times to finish and been unsuccessful! So maybe I will finally post !!!
I will add a few pictures of the little ones enjoying their valentine's candy -- Cole loves Chocolate and Dannah loves to open and make a mess with it!!!!

One quick funny for the week --
one of Cole's teacher's told me a funny this week that I just have to share -- it has so made us laugh and they give me these little nuggets and I love them -- it makes my heart smile!!!
So she told me that he has this one book that they keep on the shelf behind the rocking chair in the classroom that Cole loves -- so she was sitting in the chair rocking and about to read them a story (or something) anyway she noticed Cole eyeballing this book but it was not what she was reading or it was not a time for him to be looking at this book -- well he would look at her and then look at the book and look at her and look at the book and finally he tells her "look away" -- that is right look away - I am going to get it !!! I can sooo see him doing this -- my child -- he looks so innocent and sweet but in all reality he truly thought she might just look away and he might get his way!!!!!!!
I often wonder what his teachers think about us -- they may wonder what in the world we as parents have done!!! I say to them -- and Eli's teacher -- I pray for you all daily -- sometimes more than once a day -- Eli woke up Friday on a bad note and was in tears coming to school -- this was a morning of much prayer -- his teacher informed me no worries -- she did not come in until 11:30 -- so toooo bad for the sub!!! hehe!!
I love my monkeys all three of them -- but somedays we just make it minute by minute and hour by hour!!!
One day we will laugh about all this and look back and only remember the love!! Right????
They touch us in so many ways and I would not trade a thing in this world -- I thank God for them every moment and am honored to be able to help guide them through this life!!!
