Goddamn you half-Japanese girls!

Well, Christina and I finally managed to meet and have coffee, and what good coffee it was! The World Cup was on in our venue of choice though, so the conversation was difficult at times. "So would you recommend forensi..." "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" "Ow my ears." And I get really distracted by television sounds for some reason, so I felt like an inattentive person at times, when something would prick my ears. I apologize, Christina, if you noticed my eyes darting to the t.v. from time-to-time! I think it stems from being high-strung.

Afterward I was supposed to go skating but didn't really feel like it, because yes kids... I'm sick again! Something is amiss here. I'm actually starting to suspect allergies, and think perhaps I ought to schedule an allergy test. I'm baffled as to why I keep experiencing the same symptoms off-and-on, but I've never been an allergy sufferer so I don't know what it feels like. I tend to be stuffy in the nose with a sore throat that cannot be attributed to strep. It's a post-nasal drip, apparently, which I think goes along with allergies? It might also be very dry in here. OH GOD I DO NOT KNOW! All of this to say, I do not know! Sigh. I'm a bit tired of blindly guessing.

I made some new jewelery the other day and I'm relatively pleased with it. I wish I could get ahold of some antiqued chain instead of the requisite sterling silver. Sterling silver is too... sterling. It just shouts SILVER! wherever you wear it, and I think it looks tacky. But it's all I can find. I made a necklace with two bird beads, a leaf bead, and a big glass centrepiece, it's kind of cool and different although I think I might go buy a shell bead to replace the glass one. It doesn't really go. I made a charm bracelet too, which is cute but I will probably never wear it. Anybody wear charm bracelets? You might be able to convince me to part with it, if you like it and want it. I made a couple of simple necklaces too, which are probably my favourites. Just beads on leather cords, the kind that you secure with two knots on either side and can pull to adjust. One is a pink elephant and one is just a pink/black/white rectangle and a couple of jet beads. I really want to find a wishbone charm to make another one. I like those wishbone necklaces but refuse to pay an arm and a leg for something I'm sure I could make for five bucks.

Speaking of spending money, man, you guys know me too well... yeah, I bought more stuff today. My room is friggin' exploding with stuff! I got a bunch of new clothes from Garage. God I love Garage. Ever since they upped their sizes to reflect more normal-sized human beings, it's just the most comfortable stuff in the world. And colourful, which I appreciate. I don't understand why so many stores are already carrying that weird khaki/olive/burnt orange palette that you usually see in Fall. I like dark brown but it is Summer! I don't want to wear brown! So yeah... six new tops, all for less than I made on my last paycheque. And please be reminded that I don't earn that much, so don't read that as "I am bragging about my high income" because I most certainly am not! I am informing you of their very fair prices. Yup.

Is that thunder I hear?
