How would I know if they're gay? Don't sue me, Jake Gyllenhaal...

I'm sure by now we've all heard the rumours about Jake Gyllenhaal being gay. You may have also heard the rumours that Jared Leto started by jokingly referring to himself as homosexual. Well, you heard it here first kids, they're both really gay! And they had a baby!

Seriously. Look at Conor Oberst. Does he not look like the illigitimate love child of Jake Gyllenhaal and Jared Leto? And is that not God's gift to women? I wouldn't say no...

That said, what I really love are the 14 year old fangirls who love how "sensitive" he is and want to have his babies. This makes me laugh because they are not yet old enough to realize that while it is okay to hook up with "sensitive" guys like Conor Oberst, they are not keepers. You'd think that's counterintuitive. But "sensitive" more often than not reads as CRAZY! I mean I can just picture it now... "Don't leave me, I'm going to cut my wrists if you leave me!" "Babe, I'm sorry... sometimes I have doctor's appointments. I'll be home in two hours, I swear!" No, what you actually want is the guy who can listen to Bright Eyes and enjoy Bright Eyes and hell, even sing along to Bright Eyes! And then turns around and says, "That guy is a little intense, hey?"

The Bright Eyes concert was tonight, which the astute have figured out by now. Oh I loved it! I loved the opening act, who sang about vomiting all through your saxophone solo. Could I make this up? No. At times, I bounced in my chair. I was just that excited. And Bright Eyes was remarkably energetic. What pleased me most was the fact that Maria Taylor, whom I fucking love, was playing drums tonight. I should have stuck around after the show to propose a lesbian relationship between the two of us to her. I'm pretty sure I could hack the long-distance thing for Maria Taylor.

Today was pleasant.

Lastly, while I don't hate Nelly Furtado's music per se (yeah, I said it!), I truly dislike her as a person. She's no Pussycat Doll, that's for damn sure.

Edit: I would also like to point out the fact that undoubtedly, the best part of the night was when the slow guy working at 7-11 started hitting on me and offered to put my next transaction on his debit card. He then asked how many times my companions and I would be returning tonight. Unfortunately... none. I coulda used a free Slurpee, too...
