(no subject)
A few random thoughts.
1. I nearly shit my pants today. My dad loooves the news, never misses it, and today he told me about an story where a girl was arrested for library fines. WHAT!? What happened to the library being really forgiving? The days when your fine balance was under a dollar!? Point being...If you know me, I am a library outlaw. They should have Wanted signs posted I'm that notorious. I'm even holding a book hostage right now, determined to finish the last hundred pages. So I freaked out because a lot of items from my last batch I took home were overdue. I found out my fine was about $20, which to you might be a lot, but I have had fines upwards of $40. The girl in the story's fines were over $150, so I've decided I probably won't be arrested. Wouldn't that be a good story some day though? Anyway, I WILL, begrudgingly, return it tomorrow.
2. Which leads me to my next point! My new job seems to be working out :D Everyone at Borders is super nice and I love the atmosphere. Not to mention I GET TO TAKE BOOKS HOME ON LOAN :O Thus eliminating the problem of blowing $20 on library fines. I'll get around to it...I always do! Anyway there is a LOT of training though. I really wonder if I'll be able to remember everything. I've been getting free lunch all week, so that's a nice perk too xD
3. I'm finally all set to volunteer at the animal shelter. I took a tour during orientation and they had like 11 puppies in the back! My own dog has fleas and is really allergic so we had to take her to the vet to get medicine/a shot :/ We got her a new collar and have been giving her frequent baths so I have assured her even though she's ill she still looks pretty :P!
Anyway, no pictures at the moment. I have a bunch of new thrifted outfits I keep meaning to take pictures of. I've started a style blog too, but I'll post that when it has more to see!
