My family and I went to Geneva-On-The-Lake for my Dad's birthday yesterday. My mom actually grew up in that area and most everything has stayed the same so it's cool to see everything more or less the same as when she hung out there when she was young. It was really fun :D I finally got to wear my new dress, too :3!
'60s Secretary maybe o.O? Whenever I buy dresses second hand I usually hem them right away but I decided not to on this one since it's so form fitting. But now I think I might...hm. Anyway the shoes are the ones I put up a picture of awhile ago and the belt is thrifted. We went to dinner at a little lakeside restaurant, right around the time when the sun was setting.
Dan hugging my mom haha she's blushing like crazy xD Anyway and then Dan and I walked around and played a lot of DDR. It's a big tourist area and I don't think a lot of DDR players go there, so people were like "OMG WHAT HOW??? :O" Which was kind of embarrassing considering I, at least, am not that great. I almost bought these antique police patches from Germany and Bolivia I saw in one of the shops but I am dumb and for some reason didn't :( I wasn't able to get a lot of pictures because it was dark and my camera doesn't do very well at night. If you go there though you should get a hot dog at Eddie's Grill, visit the arcades, and stay away from the cheapy gross souvenir shops :P
I need a haircut so bad ; ; I'm also going to dye it a lighter shade of blonde. I'm considering a perm... O_o? Because I suck at curling my hair. Sigh.
Hah I totally missed our faces but oh well! I think this is our first picture together :O Anyway, I quit the shoe store and got a job at Borders which starts tomorrow, hope it goes well!
